1. Staten Island Rocker

First new song I wrote after 13 year hiatus. Each verse is about a different local rocker guy—none of whom did I actually know at the time, but each made some sort of impression on Randy from afar and ended up in this song.

  2. Parade

This is an old song recorded by The Green Scene in 1981 or thereabouts.

  3. Pie Chart

This song started with a little melody I was humming while walking home from the bank. The lyrics are kind of just me whining about not having enough time, but I like the pie chart bit and all the percentages add up.

  4. Expiration Date

Part of the melody of this song reminded me of Velvet's "Who Loves the Sun" but no one else seems to hear this.

  5. One Little Shove

First verse of this song (words and melody together) came to me while backing the car out of the driveway.

  6. Marginal Existence

Song was written in 2006, based on Debby’s often stated desire to not wind up living over a liquor store! (See: related JD King illustration) This nostaligic animation about Allen Street—(where we used to live over a liquor store)—is by son, Rob.

  7. Moving Target

This song has become an unwieldy pop production number, and I know I'm over-reaching... but there's still something I like about it.

  8. Girls Break Up

Song written by me & Josh Weisberg

  9. Pop Top Ring

Another song written by me & Josh Weisberg

Randy, performing his rousing rendition of “I Believe I Can Fly
for numerous, swarming fans.
